Prophecies question - Guild Wars Forums

Hi everyone!!

I just bought GW: Prophecies, I have played Faction before this (still working on it

). My question is do I need to install Prophecies in my comp too? or I can just add the access key to the existing account.

And would I be able to do all the quest in Prophecies using my Faction char compared to if I started a new char in Prophecies?

All you need to do is install the code in your account and you are good to go. I know this cuz i did it last night lol

Ive started with a factions char, but i think im gonna do a prophecies char because im having a hard time understanding whats going on. But yeah you can have a char from any of the 3 games go in another. like to get the factions char in to prophecies, you need to talk to some one in kinang (sp) center. It will be explained there with a quest.

I think it's Guardsman Linro or something with the quest to travel to Lions Arch in Tyria (Prophicies continent). It should tell you when you travel to Kianeng Centre after you have linked your prophecies account who you have to speak to. It's a pop up on the screen that says to unlock travel to Lions Arch speak to.......

You will arrive in Lions Arch which is about 1/3 to 1/2 way through the prophecies campaign

Edit:

And you will be able to do any quests that start from Lions Arch Onward. You will be able to do all the missions.

guardsman chenpo (sp) is for proph. Linro is for night fall.

i know its hard to remember lol

With a Factions Char you can do all the the quest post sear, double check on Guild Wiki http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page for the full list of all quest for proph that should be available.

Though for full use of proph it is better to start a fresh char and go through pre sear and enjoy the beautiful country side

As was said earlier, you can only do the quests from Lion's Arch and on, but you can go back and do all the missions if you wish.
